Here are some tips to catch pokémon more efficiently:

• Use Motion Controls Wisely – When playing in docked mode, use gentle wrist movements for better accuracy. In handheld mode, aim carefully before throwing.
• Use Berries – Razz Berries make Pokémon easier to catch, while Nanab Berries slow their movement. Use them strategically!
• Get Catch Combos – Catching the same Pokémon multiple times in a row increases your chances of encountering Shiny Pokémon, earning more XP, and finding rare Pokémon.
• Throw Excellent Throws – Aim for the smallest circle to maximize catch rates and XP bonuses.

Strengthening Your Team
Use Candies Wisely: Candies from the GO Park or catch combos boost Pokémon stats significantly.
Check Pokémon’s IVs: After catching, talk to the IV Judge (unlocked in the Pokémon Box after catching 30 Pokémon) to check if your Pokémon has great stats.

Tricks

Leveling up quickly can be a great help. Catching Pokémon repeatedly instead of just battling, catching Pokémon grants more XP than defeating trainers.

Lures can attract rarer Pokémon and increase XP when catching them. Battle Coach Trainers provide high XP and unique rewards too!

There’s also post-game challenges that include:

• Master Trainers – Each Pokémon has a dedicated Master Trainer. Defeat them using the same species for a unique title.
• Catch Legendary Pokémon – After beating the Elite Four, you can catch Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, and even Meltan (via Pokémon GO).
• Battle Red, Blue, and Green – These legendary trainers provide the toughest challenges in the game!

Tips

Keep in mind that each dough animal has different personalities too. The Lil’Buns when big will eat the little ones. The birds tend to run away from you and off a cliff or into the lightning which can be quite annoying. The monkeys when big will attack the enemies for you.

The foxes will be cheeky and run away from you but if you sneak up behind them you can still grab them. The armadillos will try to roll into you so watch out! The snakes will hide in the sand and pop back out. The bats will suck the flavors out of the other doughs.

Make sure to use each super, Sage’s super is really good to rank up some points. 600 is the max points she can get. A max dough is worth 820 in the oven, if you time it just right and use Ginger’s super then Thyme’s super you can get a lot of points too.

Tricks

If you stand right in front of a spawning dough spot and mash the throw button, you can merge doughs much easier. This trick can also work when you want to get rid of the enemies faster but mash the attack button instead.

Each character has a different skill and weakness, It’s good to work with your characters abilities and players’ to find the best strategy. Just be like Foxy Gamer and play as the weakest fighter who somehow is the best fighter, lol.

Here are some tips for this game. These tips include strategies to play the minigames and more.

If you’re like us we don’t really do VS we like to do Co-op even if it’s supposed to be VS. In some minigames like the Big-Top Quiz minigame you can work together. Each player can watch a Toad and what their ball’s picture looks like to win together.

Another minigame that can be turned co-op is Hot Cross Blocks. If each player works together to all get across by selecting different paths and calling out what path they chose so someone else doesn’t chose it also.

Thwomp the Difference, Gate Key-pers, Sled to the Edge, Treasure Divers are also minigames that can be played co-op.

Even if you’re playing 1-player you can still play co-op along as you have friends with you. Like in the Sleight of Shell minigame you can all watch for the right shell and be more likely to succeed.

In the Match! That! Item! minigame it’s good to try to remember what comes before the item you need. So you can press it then and spam the button to get the right item you need. For example, if you need a Super Star press the button at Yoshi’s Egg and then spam the button to get the Super Star.

In the Blame It on the Crane minigame for the team side it’s best to stay in the inner ring and move slowly until you get to the crane then speed past and repeat to survive in this minigame.

Tricks

It’s fun finding tricks in the game. We usually end up laughing when we find tricks that are basically pressing the “win” button, lol.

The Party Mode saves your progress every turn. You can use this to close and re-open the game to get the Jamboree Buddy you want. Because it saves there is a Jamboree Buddy but not which one.

In the Burger Builders minigame if you watch the light colored spots line up with the ring’s light colored spots. If you wait until they a line then you can get “Nice” every time.

In the Short Stack Chef minigame, if you watch closely, you can see a red circle that appears on the pancake. Wait for it to disappear completely before flipping it to get a “Nice”.

In the Candy Shakedown minigame it’s best to get all the hard candy pieces out first then try the easer ones. The green and red ones are the hardest.

In the Don’t Wake Wiggler minigame, you can always pet them five times on the first round of turns.

In the minigame Drop Quiz if no one knows the answer to the last answer and nobody has fell yet you could try each standing on an answer.

In the River Survival mode, teamwork is essential. Make sure you and your teammates row in sync to avoid obstacles and collect extra time balloons. Minigames in River Survival help you earn time, so the better you perform, the longer you’ll survive.

As they always say “Pratice makes perfect”. Minigames are key to earning coins and gaining the upper hand in Mario Party. So to master the minigames, try out the Free Play mode to familiarize yourself with each type of game. Learn the controls for each minigame. Some require speed, others strategy or teamwork, so understanding how to approach different styles can give you an advantage.

In the Party modes before every turn, take a moment to check the board and the location of stars, rivals, and item shops. Choosing a strategic path can make a big difference in collecting stars and items.

Use items wisely like the Golden Pipe, which warps you near a star, or mushrooms to give you an extra movement boost. Save powerful items for critical moments.

Tricks

We’ve found some tricks in this game that can verry helpful. Although sometimes Foxy can be quite magic and do things that just don’t seem possible.

In the Croozin’ for a Broozin’ minigame there is sometimes a pattern on what pathway to use. In practice pay attention and see what’s the right path. For example, let’s say the right path in practice was red that means in the atrucal game it will be blue.

That means it will follow the pattern of red blue red blue until the pathways change colors then it will be red red blue blue and so on. The father you go the more the paths change color and then it keeps adding one to the pattern.

How to bounce back after falling

Some people see the CPUs jumping back on stage like there’s nothing to it and so a lot of people ask HOW? and my answer is this.

Here is an easy way that you can do with most of the characters: Double jump then use Up Special to get back on. Although some characters may have trouble using that (like Jigglypuff) it’s still an easy way that works for most of the characters.

Some characters have good recovery after falling/bounce back to get on stage after being knocked off the stage. Like Zelda for example can keep teleporting onto the stage.

For the best recovery I would say that Meta Knight and Sheik have the best. Meta Knight’s Up Special can get you back on stage pretty good Sheik’s Up Special and Side Special works good to.

Although, Isabelle can use her fishing rod to get back on stage or even drag players off stage with her. Her Up Special can work good to.

Fastest and Strongest characters

The game has loads of characters to play as so you might ask “Which one is the best?” Well, best moveset, speed and strength are all good things to go for in this game.

It might be hard to pick just one based on all of those states, so just go with the one you like best. Some are really good at one thing but not so much the other, below is a list which I hope helps:

• Best moveset overall– That’s all a matter of opinion. My opinion is Peach/Daisy have the best overall moveset.
• Fastest– The best character for speed is of course Sonic the Hedgehog. He has some pretty good attacks, bounce back and smash attacks. My favorite move is probably his smash moves which I talk about more later.
• Strongest– The Strongest I would say is Bowser. He has strong attacks that easily send you flying.

Don’t forget about the “Smash” attacks!

Smash attacks are good attacks you can ush to easily blast someone off screen. Using the Right Control Stick and tilting it up, down or to the side it will do different attacks.

For example, Peach’s side smash attack is using a golf club and swinging it to launch someone off screen. But while hold the right stick, if you move the left stick up, it will become a frying pan and holding down makes it a tennis racket.

They are each a little different. The Golf Club has the farthest reach, the frying pan can launch the farthest and do the most damage. The tennis racket launches at a low angle, so if you’re waiting at the edge to make them fall it’s a good one to use.

Sonic has a really good up smash attack. His jumps up into a ball and attacks the player who is in reach. It’s really good for getting some good damage on someone.

How to get coins fast

The Kung Fu Power up levels are the best when it comes to getting coins. You can get like 400 coins or more by playing a Kung Fu level so I can definitely recommend doing them if you need coins. The second best might be the Super-hero levels but the Kung Fu levels are THE best by a lot.

Well for Kung Fu levels you can get lots of coins throughout the level, below I highlighted the best ways to get a lot of coins at once:

A Kung Fu Tale: When breaking the shops. By the last shop there is a spot to pose that leads to a room with loads of coins.

A Kung Fu Legend: Before rescuing the first theet, pose using ZL or Zr to get into a secret room with lots of coins. After the fifth sparkle gem, use the poles and bars to swing up to a platform. Go into the room to get a whole lot of coins.

Is there any hidden tricks Peach can do? If you hold up while twirling you can aim it up.

How to 100% Peach showtime? By Finishing all the levels and bosses, collecting all the Sparkle Gems, Ribbons, Hidden Ninjas, getting the outfits for both Peach and Stella and decorating all the floors.

How long does it take to 100% Princess Peach: Showtime? Although it varies it’s around 15 to 16 hours to 100% the whole game.

What is the Easter egg in Princess Peach: Showtime? Well, there isn’t any things you can collect that’s really hidden that isn’t a collectable other than the Ballon Theet that can give you coins. Peach does do a little dance after popping the balloon or saving Hat Guy.

How do you pose in Princess Peach Showtime? By pressing ZL or ZR under a spotlight but only when Peach is transformed like Swordfighter or Cowgirl.

Practice makes perfect. Like any game, practice makes perfect in Super Princess Peach. Keep honing your skills, learning from your mistakes, and finding new strategies to overcome obstacles.

Tips

Take your time, I’ve learned that the hard way sometimes. Super Princess Peach can be a challenging game, so don’t rush through levels. Take your time to explore, collect Toads or other collatable, and plan your moves carefully to succeed.

Collect all the Toads. Finding and rescuing all the Toads in each level can unlock hidden paths, power-ups, and even new abilities for Peach. Make sure to explore thoroughly to find them all.

Don’t forget about Perry! Peach’s parasol companion, Perry, can also be used to attack enemies, activate switches, and protect Peach from hazards. Don’t forget to use him strategically in your quest.

Make use of Peach’s emotions. Peach can use her different emotions (joy, rage, gloom, and calm) to access different abilities and powers. Experiment with these emotions to find the best strategies for each level.

Tricks

Blowing into the mic: Some minigames or parts of the levels want you to blow the mic. In Toad Jump it can be really hard to blow to make them jump at the right time but we tried tapping the mic and that works better then blowing! This trick can be used in any game that uses the mic. Like in Mario and Sonic London for example.

It’s also good to keep checking in with the shop to see what new things you can buy to help Peach. If you 100% clear the game, you can get Endless vibe which is SUPER Helpful in the levels.

Watch the bottom screen if Peach has a ! next to her that means there’s something in there like a Toad, Puzzle Peice or Music note.

For starters, bagging isn’t nearly as good on 200cc as it is on 150cc. Frontrunning works best for 200cc. Get in front as soon as possible and stay there to the finish line in 200cc.

This changes item strategy from critical use of mushrooms, stars, or red shells to basically just holding on to defensive items as much as possible in 200cc. Being toward the front of the pack means very few mushrooms, stars, or bullet bills.

Instead of items, the primary focus of 200cc is taking good racing lines to avoid hitting any walls or obstacles. Many times, just avoiding walls and obstacles is all that’s needed to win.

Avoiding the walls, or worse falling off the track, is easier said than done in 200cc. While I rarely use the brake in 150cc, braking is crucial in 200cc. I use it constantly throughout every race in 200cc.

Tapping the brake during drifts gives you just about as much control as the joystick during drifts in my experience. Holding the brake too long results in spinning out or losing the drift boost altogether.

In order to brake drift, start a drift then tap or hold the brake button. During this time you hold the drift with your index finger and accelerate button with your thumb. Then roll your thumb to tap or hold the brake button. This takes some practice but is a crucial skill for 200cc.

Items don’t play as important of a role in 200cc as they do in 150cc. Sure a red shell or well placed banana helps, but overall a 200cc race focuses on racing lines.

In my experience, many races I just get a defense item or two during the race. Avoiding bananas, shells, and obstacles consumes all my attention. I just check to see whether I got a trailing item or not.

In 200cc you can safely trail a bomb for protection. It’s rare but I’ve got caught in the explosion when I was going too slow. 200cc is so fast you can delay, or even put off being hit by a blue shell too.

In Moonview Highway, if you hit all the boost pads leading up to the finish line in 200cc a blue shell can’t catch you until after the finish line. Unfortunately, red shells can still catch you in 200cc.

The goal in most 200cc races is to not fall so far back to even get a red shell. Get in the lead an staying there is the objective in 200cc. A mushroom or red shell is no substitute for good driving.

Good driving involves frequent use of shortcuts. There are shortcuts in every track. Many require mushrooms but some don’t. Some that require a mushroom in 150cc can be done without one in 200cc.

For example, the waterfall shortcut in Yoshi Circuit. In 200cc you need a orange boost and a trick to jump the gap. No mushroom required.

Many of the 200cc shortcuts take practice since the timing and aim is very precise. Of course, racing any track in 200cc requires practice. Once you get comfortable driving in 200cc start trying the shortcuts. Start with the easier ones and work up to the harder ones.

Winning at 200cc requires different skills vs winning at 150cc. Driving skills matter more for 200cc than 150cc. Item management matters less for 200cc than 150cc.

Good driving at 200cc takes a lot of practice. I recommend not switching between 150cc and 200cc until you consistently win at 200cc.

Generous use of brake drifting is crucial in 200cc. At times canceling a drift boost or avoiding a trick boost actually helps in 200cc. It takes a lot of practice to learn when and when not to drift in 200cc.

The first time playing on 200cc is intimidating. It’s easy to fly off the track or constantly bounce off walls. While braking is rarely used in 150cc, it’s required for almost every turn in 200cc.

Keep practicing. Learning each track takes months of practice. Get comfortable holding the accelerate button while tapping the brake button at the same time during drifts. This gives you more control for taking good racing lines.

The better lines you take the less you bounce off walls, hit obstacles, or need to slow down coming out of a turn. Taking good racing lines is the primary skill for winning at 200cc.

How to Win at Mario Kart 8 Deluxe brought to you by David M.

I’m David M. I’ve been playing video games a long time, my pong game was fire. Now, my kids run circles around me but we always have a good time. We mostly play party and family games. Strategy and battle games are still among my favorites. I like writing about games almost as much as I do playing them. My favorite games are: Moving Out 2, Out of Space and Overcooked All You Can Eat.

The computer is reactive to your level of play. If you go all out so does the computer. Which makes it frustrating at times but it can also be exploited. What I found is if you play bad so does the computer!

Many, many times I’ve been in the lead with the finish line is sight only for a computer to be pass me like I’m standing still or get hit by 3 items in a row. We’ve all been there. Wouldn’t it be nice to be on the other end of that scenario for a change?

To have the computer slow down to let you pass? Or NOT throw their items with the finish line in sight? Well, it is possible with this method.

In my experience there are two ways to win a Mario Kart 8. Spend three hours a day practicing for months….. or cheat. If you’re like me, I’m a casual gamer. I don’t have hours each day to invest in the game. So I’ve found a kind of cheat for noobs like me.

While I love playing Mario Kart, getting 3 stars for all the Grand Prix’s is frustrating, especially in 200cc. With enough practice I can consistently win now and finish the time trials. But even with skill the game requires some luck to get 1st four races in a row.

After much trial and error, I’ve found a way to exploit the computer racers. Here is an easy way to win at Mario Kart 8 Deluxe:

• Finish the first lap in 8th place or lower
• Then finish the second lap in 4th place or lower
• Save good items for the last lap and go all out to win

The computer responds to your lap times. If you go slow for the first two laps so does the computer. If you don’t use items aggressively neither does the computer. At least to some extent.

By following these three steps I’ve got 3 gold stars in all the Grand Prix races. Obviously this won’t work for the time trials but it does reduce the frustration of placing 2nd in the last Grand Prix race. In fact it leads to some hilarious races where the computer racers go out of their way to let you win.

Instead of being frustrated because my golden dash mushroom couldn’t pass a computer racer that didn’t even drift. I’ve actually seen them slow down to let me pass at the finish line.

You don’t want to cross the finish line in 7th place or higher, even at the start. Don’t move at the start. Let everyone pass then cross in 12th place.

If you use auto accelerate, intentionally burn out or try to turn around. Anything to avoid crossing the finish line above 8th place at the start.

The first lap is primarily about collecting coins. Avoid doing tricks, drifts, or taking shortcuts. Items are based on your distance from 1st place. Usually the second set of item blocks yield the best items for a comeback.

Hold on to good items for the last lap. Holding on to these items for 3 laps increases the chances a shock or boo steals them. But it’s worth the risk.

Try to get 10 coins if you can but under no circumstances finish the first lap in 7th place or higher. The game punishes you later for this.

This lap is tempting to leap ahead to 1st. It’s very easy with a few drifts or tricks to jump ahead many places. On some courses this is fine. Especially on courses you’re comfortable front running.

Otherwise, stay in 4th place or lower. If you finish the second lap in 10th, 11th or 12th, it’s still possible to come back on most tracks. However, you have to get as many trick boosts, drift boosts, and use as many shortcuts as possible.

It’s much easier to win by finishing the second lap in 4th to 6th place. Focus on collecting coins and keeping the good items you got from the first lap.

I’ve noticed the beginning of the third lap is a common time for a shock to occur. Using a star or bullet near the finish line before starting the third lap is a good choice.

Saving it for a hard part of the track is another option. Watch the mini-map to gauge your distance from first place. If you’re close you can save it. Otherwise use it to quickly close the gap.

This is when the racing begins. Doing a few drift boosts and trick boosts quickly slingshots you into the lead. However, now you’re exposed to blue shells and other items.

If you haven’t already, use the star, golden dash mushrooms, bullet bill, or shock you got from the first lap. Once in the lead all you get is a coin and defense item. Get double item boxes or hold onto the coin until you get a defense item.

Take good racing lines, do as many drift boosts, and trick boosts as you can to keep a breakaway lead. In my experience, this bagging method (or “Foxy Magic” as we like to call it) turns the tables on the computer races. Even if you get hit by a blue shell, fall off the course, or make a mistake. The computer racers are more likely let you win.

I’ve still won after falling off the track near the finish line. Once second place held on to their red shell to let me win! It’s weird but fun to be on the other end of the photo finishes for a change.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is made so the computer players are given advantages to keep it competitive. While this makes the game challenging fun most of the time. It can make the game frustrating at times. Getting hit by a shock followed up by a blue shell on the last lap is incredibly common on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Slipping from 1st to 2nd at the finish line is just part of the game. You can invest countless hours developing skills or exploit the programming to your advantage to win more often.

The game is rigged so computer racers finish with specific lap times. Giving them unfair acceleration, speed, and handling to achieve those times. They go as fast or as slow as you make them. I exploit this to my advantage to win.

Getting 1st in all four Grand Prix races requires some luck. It takes a few attempts to get all 3 gold stars. This method can reduce the amount of attempts considerably.

1. Make it a family project

This game really does provide a great opportunity for everyone to get together and work on the fun project of building up an island as a family, so long as you make sure that everybody gets to voice their ideas and puts in an effort to making your island the best it can be for everyone involved. I highly recommend that you get your whole family (and/or whomever you’re sharing your island with) together as often as possible and do Party Play (via the Call Resident app on your Nookphone, unlocked as soon as at least one other person has set up their house on the island), since it makes sure that everyone gets a chance to give their input and to work on projects together when designing your island. Plus it’s just more fun that way!

2. Share your resources

If you have extra resources in your storage or your pockets that another player needs and you don’t, share with them! Or if you have lots of Bells and another player wants to purchase something that won’t be available the next day, give them a loan! Of course, you should also make sure that it never gets to where one player is doing all the giving while the other is doing all the taking. Try writing down what you loan a player and when to keep track and make sure things don’t get out of hand.

3. Be mindful of the others on your island

Don’t take someone else’s decorations and sell them without permission, and don’t purposely tell their favorite villager to leave. The Golden Rule is a very, very important thing to keep in mind when playing this game. Especially if you want to stay on speaking terms with whomever you’re sharing with.

4. Divide up the island

While I think that it would be ideal if everyone could all work together to build up their islands, I realize that it might not be a possibility for some people to do that. If you feel that things just wouldn’t be able to work out with treating your island like a family project, or if you’ve tried and found that not everyone was enjoying themselves, you could divide up your island and give each player their own section to work on like they would if they weren’t sharing the island with anyone else. You could put fencing, rivers, cliffs, custom designs, or anything else that could help you distinguish the borders of each player’s section and make sure that you don’t accidentally decorate/terraform somebody else’s section.

5. Keep things fair

No matter how you decide to view your island, try to make sure that things stay fair for everyone. I recommend that everyone be allowed to have at least one animal villager’s house that they get full control of (or at least as much control as the game allows). Meaning that only they can decide to kick out whoever moves into that house, and have everyone else ask their permission before they do something like changing their villager’s catchphrase or giving the villager an item that would affect their clothing/home décor, and if a player wants their villager someplace else on the island, the resident representative should move it for them (the player who wants their villager moved should still give them the Bells needed to move the house, though). You could also set aside certain fruit trees for each player to harvest from by labeling them with custom designs or by keeping them near their houses. I also suggest that once the resident representative unlocks the pole vault and ladder, that they craft one of each for each player, since it saves them from having to buy the recipe themselves and it doesn’t have to cost the resident representative anything other than the time it takes to make them, since the other players could supply the materials for their tools if necessary.

Ultimately I think that whether having to share an island is a strength or weakness of this game is up to the people playing it.
