Smurfs Kart – Review
Smurfs Kart reminds us of Mario Kart or Hello Kitty Racing. The graphics of the game are great. The courses are detailed with trees, gems and much more. Each of the character’s power ups also add a fun mix to the gameplay. It’s cute and lots of fun too, you’ll find out more in my review.

Why Smurfs Kart?
Smurfs Kart takes the iconic little blue characters into the kart-racing world. You pick from a dozen playable Smurfs, hop into your kart with special powers, and race across Smurf-themed tracks — through the Smurf Village, forests, swamps, and even Gargamel’s house. The game supports split-screen multiplayer (up to 4 players locally) and has modes like Time Trial and Grand Prix.

Smurfs Kart puts the little blue Smurfs behind the wheels of colorful karts as they zoom through tracks inspired by their magical world — from the mushroom-housespace of Smurf Village to swampy forests and even Gargamel’s house.
Each of the 12 playable Smurfs comes with a unique kart and a special power (e.g., one Smurf might have a speed boost behind the wheel, another an attack item) allowing for slight variation in play style. The game includes modes like Solo Races, Time Challenges, and Split-Screen Multiplayer (up to 4 players locally).
How We Test Games
For testing games we use a Nintendo Switch firmware version 2H. Hardware includes Joy-con and Pro controller on a large screen TV. Tests are done with up to 5 players. We take turns playing and evaluating games.
Whenever possible we play multiple players. We also use a Nintendo 2DS, DS XL, and for PC games we use a Ryzen 7 1700x CPU, AMD RX580, running on Win 10. This game is up to 4-players on one Nintendo Switch.
Pros
The visual theme is adorable: the Smurf universe is captured in bright colours, whimsical tracks, and fun character designs.
It’s very family-friendly and accessible, making it easy for younger or casual players to jump in and have fun.
Each Smurf having their own kart and “special item” adds a little flavour and gives players something to pick based on their favourite character.
The local multiplayer is a good option for family game nights or playing with siblings/friends on one console.

Cons
Content is limited: only 12 tracks are included (with maybe mirrored versions making it effectively more) which means you may finish everything fairly quickly.
There’s no robust online multiplayer component (or it’s very limited), which reduces replay value if you want to race with friends remotely.
Some of the mechanics feel a bit basic compared to top-tier kart racers: items are not always as varied or as strategic, and the AI or challenge might lack depth for more experienced players.
Pricing and expectations: for a game with fewer tracks and modes, some players feel the value isn’t as strong as other kart racers with deeper rosters and more features.
Summary
Smurfs Kart is a cute and fun kart racing game that delivers what you’d expect from a Smurf-themed family-friendly racer: charm, simple mechanics, and multiplayer fun on the couch. If you love the Smurfs, want a light-hearted racing game for casual play, or want something to play with younger friends/family, it’s a solid pick. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a deep kart racer with tons of content, online options, and advanced mechanics, you might find it a little lacking.
Overall, a cheerful, accessible kart game with a smaller scope than hardcore racing fans might hope for, but just right for relaxed fun and Smurf fans.
