Nancy Drew Card Collector game – Review
We all love the Nancy Drew books and games around our house and we have played this game many times before. But today my sister Unicorn Gamer and I played it together, so I decided to write a review on the game “Nancy Drew Card Collector game” and this game is a lot of fun to play.
All of the book cards’ artwork is artwork from the Nancy Drew book series. The artworks of the books were really well done. It’s fun to see the different generations of Nancy Drew art styles next to each other.
This game is about being at a Nancy Drew Book Auction and you try to collect books before other players do.
To start the game, you lay out 21 of the Nancy Drew cards and hand out a sheet and collector card to everyone and pick a book card based on the collector card.
If playing with 3 or more players you also give out a “Hypothesis” card to everyone that lets you guess what card a player has even if it isn’t your turn.
For example, if you picked “The Mystery of the Brass Bound Trunk” you need to mark down:
- Mystery
- Tandy
- Boat
- Hat
- Ring of Thieves
That way if Player B asks “Does your book have a Hat?” you would say yes, but if they ask “Does your book have Pink?” you would say no.
Why Nancy Drew Card Collector Game?
This game is a lot of fun to play no matter what age you are. It’s good for both Nancy Drew fans of the video games or the books. That’s a good reason for getting this game.
Although this game is mainly for Nancy Drew book fans, people who like the video games will still like this game.
This game is around 30 minutes to an Hour long to play. So if you’re looking for a fast game, I don’t know about this game being the best choice.
Summary
Overall, this game is fun for all ages and perfect for any Nancy Drew fan. It’s a fun and immersive experience that stays true to the spirit of the books, and I really enjoyed playing it. Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the Nancy Drew world, this game is definitely worth checking out!
