Clue Escape Room the World’s Fair Board Game – Review

We’ve played a few escape rooms and we really like the Clue Escape Room series so we got this one. We enjoyed just like the others although the ending had us surprised. Anyway, here is my review for the game!

This time, the game is set during a dazzling World’s Fair on a man-made island, where secrets and sabotage threaten to ruin the celebration. Players must work together to uncover the mystery while racing against the clock.

The setting is one of the most charming parts of this game. The World’s Fair brings a vibrant backdrop filled with exotic exhibits, cutting-edge inventions, and international intrigue. The narrative centers on a missing inventor and sabotaged mushrooms, drawing players into a rich story filled with historical flair and mystery.

This is a cooperative game for 1–6 players where teamwork is key. Unlike traditional Clue, this version uses a progressive, chapter-based structure. Players solve puzzles, decode clues, and unlock new rooms, all while unraveling the case. Each envelope reveals new parts of the story, and the game feels more like an interactive mystery adventure than a standard board game.
