How to Play Very Very Valet: Ultimate Guide
Very Very Valet is one of our favorite multiplayer games. We play co-op couch games every weekend, and we find ourselves playing this one over and over.
You’d think playing as a valet is boring but this game makes mundane tasks fun. While there’s a subtle narrative culminating in a final level. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it. As long as you get enough cars past some UFO’s you can win.
Mostly Very Very Valet is parking and delivering cars in a timely manner. There isn’t any combat or violence. Your primary struggle is against the clock. Making sure orders don’t time out and all the cars are delivered before time runs out.
The mini games are a racing and survival game. You have to push everyone off a platform to win the survival game. The other party game is just a run of the mill racing game. Both are good practice for learning how to drive the car.
Basic Gameplay How To
There are 20 levels and 4 bonus levels. Each level is progressively harder than the last in my experience. New obstacles and paths are added occasionally. Plus there are bonus levels.
Once the level starts, we dropped in via parachutes. We saw cars in the parking lot and new ones showing up. As we entered a new car to park, we noticed the color of the message.
Red means they’ll be back soon to pick up their car. So we moved any red cars directly to the pick up area, or close to it. Yellow messages represent medium times. And green messages represents the longest times.
I can’t tell much difference between green and yellow times. We parked those cars wherever the parking lot was. Honestly, red messages are the only color I pay attention to.
Rooftop Parking
In Rooftop Parking it’s actually better if you don’t use the rooftop for parking. We just piled the cars on the street. Then delivered them as needed.
Across the Street
For Across the Street it’s also better if you don’t use the parking across the street. We piled ’em up on the street and used the push button to clear any traffic jams. Although, if you have 4 players you’ll have to park some cars there.
Bowled Over
Even though this is the first bonus level, it’s the hardest level to get 3 stars in the game in my opinion. Seriously, it’s hard to get to the 7th wave, let alone collect all the stars.
We used drift and boost to slide into as many pins as possible. We found splitting up worked best when we had multiple players. Head to the top level and work you way down. If we ever fell down a level and needed to drive back up, then we never made it to the 7th wave.
Alley Avenue
In Alley Avenue the portal is useful in my experience. We always delivered a car or two to the pick-up area. Then we walked back through the portal to pick up new cars.
Cliffside Overlook
In Cliffside Overlook we needed to use the portal. We found aiming a car at the portal, hitting the boost, then bailing out worked best. The car coasted through the portal. We parked as many red cars on the loop as we could.
The Observatory
We parked red message cars on the grassy cliff and the upper road. The rest we put on the lower parking lot. If the top level ever got too congested, we used the boost to plow through to the delivery area.
Hotel No Vacancy
In Hotel No Vacancy we parked new cars using the portal. However, we delivered cars by jumping off the parking deck. We put as many red message cars in the pick-up zone as could fit. We piled them up past the no parking zone, since we can always push through any traffic jam.
Quartz Quarry
For this level, we took our time parking new cars. We took them to the bottom of the quarry, and lined them up efficiently. That way we could jump in, boost up the ramp, and jump out of the car. If we timed it right the car landed in the pick-up zone.
Since there are two no parking zones I wouldn’t pile any red message cars in the pick-up zone. Instead we put them on the middle level of the quarry. There they were ready to drive up the rear ramp.
Up and Down
In this level we took advantage of the springs to get back to the top level. We drove red message cars to the pick-up zone. All the rest we drove off the top platform. We parked cars arriving on the bottom level in the lot. We moved as many red message cars through the portal as was room.
Cleanup Crew
In this bonus level you have to pick up trash bags. I found using the van instead of the car worked better. The car can only hold 3 bags, while the van holds 5. The van is slow so we used the boost liberally. In my experience tapping it instead of holding it down works best.
Overpass Galleria
In this level there’s a partially hidden ramp to the upper parking deck on the right side. We didn’t bother using it. Instead we parked as many cars as we could on the center barrier in the road.
This level is likely to have traffic jams so we were sure to push as many cars around as we could. If too many cars pile up or we pushed to hard, some of the NPC cars disappeared. Bonus.
Now Departing
This is a hard level. At some point several people request their cars at the same time. We had to anticipate it and all be in the parking lot before it happened.
We parked cars on the curb lining either side of the runway to save time. The ramp to the parking deck is wide enough to fit several cars. We boosted our way through when there was too many.
Rinse and Return
This level adds a car wash to the mix. Cars that look dirty need washed. They’ll also say so in the message. When the level starts we moved the cars on the outskirts to the round parking area.
Since the pick-up area is downhill, we would aim a car at it, hit the boost, then bail out. Cars coasted to the pick-up area. You can use the spring to get back to the upper area if need be.
Downtown
This is another hard level. Solo isn’t near as hard as multiplayer. A circular barrier blocks the path. It moves back and forth. Allowing you to deliver or pick-up new cars, but not both.
We really had to work together on this level. Having one player dedicated to operating the switch helped. But they also had to jump in a car to prevent it from timing out from time to time.
Home Sweep Home
In this bonus level you need to sweep all the dirt. Occasionally, there’s like 1 pixel’s worth of dirt left. We couldn’t proceed to the next wave until it was all swept up.
This level is almost impossible in expert mode as a solo player in my experience. Having multi-players made it easier.
Macho Motors
In Macho Motors you need to divert cars that need a wash, an oil change, or repaired. Pay attention to the color of the message and flag for each car. Direct each car to which bay it needs to go.
We found it was chaotic but fun. It kept everyone on their toes.
Double Parking
In Double Parking cars show up on either side but are delivered in the center. We were sure to keep the urgent red message cars close, while putting the low priority green message cars farther away.
We drove instead of walked from one side to another as much as possible. All while taking full advantage of the boost button.
Seismic Stories
In this level the road splits in half, with one side lowering. When that happens you have to get to a higher level of the parking deck and jump off.
We kept the cars with red messages to the left of the crack in the road. Either by backing up the alley or going past the pick-up zone. We noticed a lot traffic on this level. We used the push button to keep it moving.
Dueling Venues
From here on out your efficiency skills are put to the test. There aren’t airplanes, trains, or earthquakes to deal with. The map is fairly concise. But there are a lot of cars coming and going.
We paid close attention to the color of the message when picking up cars. Keep red ones close while putting the others farther away. We jumped over the guard rails and other cars coming and going. We took advantage of parking cars on sidewalks too.
The Lot
This level is huge but there are no obstructions. There are tons of cars that show up and need delivered. These levels need nerfed for solo players in my opinion.
It’s easy to miss cars needing delivered along the edges because the lot is so big. Pay attention to the ding sounds and look around for deliveries. Make use of power ups and driving with the boost.
Sharing Spaces
Sharing Spaces has cars arriving from 3 corners while needing delivered to any of 3 pick-up areas. Like the previous two levels, things get chaotic due to the volume of cars.
We drove from one end of the map to another as much as possible. We avoided zig zagging back and forth too. We picked-up and delivered the cars nearest to us whenever we could.
Three in One
This bonus level is hard playing solo. Multiplayer it’s easier. You have to sweep up dirt, knock over pins, and collect trash bags.
They give you more time because the last star is hard to get. Either position the trucks so you can land another vehicle on them and drive to the star. Or do a head on collision below the star. One vehicle will drive over the other and get the star.
Chaos Caboose
This level is fun because you get to jump the train, or get hit by it. When the level starts, we moved the truck with the ramp to the left lot. We put it in the bottom right corner, as far as it will go. Then the wall kept us lined up with the ramp.
Auto Recall
This is the final level. Avoid the red tractor beams below the black bowler hat looking UFO things. The cars filled with dynamite don’t need delivered. They are there for one purpose: to blow up the UFO’s.
Blow up the UFO’s in the shared middle path first. Then the ones along the bottom wall. We found the rest are easy to avoid.
Very Very Valet Achievements
These are all the achievements. Most are self explanatory or achieved by getting more stars. Party starter is the only hard one in my experience. You need to press the joystick button as you land.
We found reaching 4 seconds of air time is easy on The Observatory level. Launch a car from the lower to higher platform. Then stay in the car and try to land back on the lower platform.

How to play Very Very Valet brought to you by David M.
I’m David M. I’ve been playing video games a long time, my pong game was fire. Now, my kids run circles around me but we always have a good time. We mostly play party and family games. Strategy and battle games are still among my favorites. I like writing about games almost as much as I do playing them. My favorite games are: Moving Out 2, Out of Space, and Overcooked All You Can Eat.
